Description

What’s an adventurer to do if he suddenly finds himself an undead skeleton, devoured by a mighty dragon, in the middle of an unexplored part of the dungeon? Not that anyone would miss the recently deceased Rentt Faina. After all, even after ten years, he hasn’t managed to improve his rank and spends time hunting the weakest monsters, dreaming of becoming a glorious hero one day.

It now seems too late for heroism, but Rentt refuses to spend the rest of his existence as a lowly monster. So, he sets out to kill other monsters and become stronger. In theory, if monsters absorb the magical energy of other monsters, they can reach higher levels of existence. In the hope of gaining a human-like appearance in order to seek help, his adventure begins again – with unexpected consequences, and not just for Rentt himself.

Was soll ein Abenteurer tun, wenn er sich plötzlich als untotes Skelett, gefressen von einem mächtigen Drachen, inmitten eines unerforschten Teils des Dungeons wiederfindet? Nicht, dass irgendjemand den jüngst dahingeschiedenen Rentt Faina vermissen würde, immerhin hat er es auch nach zehn Jahren nicht geschafft, seinen Rang zu verbessern und verbringt nun seine Zeit damit, die schwächsten Monster zu jagen und davon zu träumen, eines Tages ein glorreicher Held zu werden.

Fürs Heldentum scheint es jetzt zu spät zu sein, doch Rentt weigert sich, den Rest seiner Existenz als niederes Monster zu verbringen. Deswegen zieht er aus, um andere Monster zu töten und so stärker zu werden. Wenn Monster nämlich die magische Energie anderer Monster absorbieren, können sie andere Existenzstufen erreichen – so die Theorie. In der Hoffnung, so ein menschenähnliches Aussehen zu erlangen, um Hilfe zu suchen, beginnt sein Abenteuer erneut – mit unerwarteten Folgen, nicht nur für Rentt selber.
