Avenue Five Institute offers a fully accredited Massage Therapy program. The 750-hour program is approved by established national standards (Nationally Accredited by the NACCAS). Austin Community College – Northridge Campus
The massage therapy program offered by ACC combines classroom lectures with hands-on learning in a lab setting and a massage internship. Students will acquire knowledge and skills to take the TDLR exam for licensure as a massage therapist and qualify for entry-level positions in salons, spas, and other settings. Students will learn how to assess soft tissue condition, joint quality and range of motion, develop and propose specific massage treatment plans, use complementary treatments such as infrared lamps, wet compresses and whirlpool baths, and prepare and blend oils for use in therapeutic massages. Texas Massage Academy
Texas Massage Academy offers a convenient and flexible hybrid massage therapy program to prepare students for a career as a massage therapist. Students will 46% of the training online and the hands-on requirements will be completed on campus. They will learn techniques such as deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, range of motion assessments, client assessments, myofascial release, and good body mechanics.
