The official site of Gangan Joker magazine announced that the author of Inu x Boku SS, Cocoa Fujiwara, died on March 31 at the age of 31. The cause of death was not revealed.

Her debut was a work titled Calling, which she made when she was only fifteen. She chose not to go to high school so that she could draw manga. Fujiwara was a big fan of RPGs such as Final Fantasy, which was quite evident in her works.

Fujiwara's most recent manga, Katsute Mahou Shoujo to Aku wa Tekitai shite Ita., is currently being serialized in the magazine, and the last chapter was published on March 20 in the April 2015 issue. Plans for the manga's tankoubon release, as well as unpublished materials, will be announced later. Katsute Mahou Shoujo to Aku wa Tekitai shite Ita. recently tied for 19th place in the Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2015 rankings.

R.I.P Cocoa Fujiwara.
InuxBoku was one of my favorite anime series of all time. I dunno how many times I've watched it and made me laugh so much every time I saw it.
It's sad, because she was too young.
My feelings to her parents and family.

That's so tragic she died WAY to young. 31 isn't an age.
Rest in Peace Fujiwara-Sensei.

She died this young! I'm so sad, RIP sensei. I feel some guilt here.
I came to like her art rather late and was happy she illustrated for I Doll U.
I couldn't believe this, but saw no new tweets by her after Mar 25 and my heart sank.

Most probably fake. Just like those artists. Before they die, their artworks pretty much rubbish; but after passed away, their artworks value skyrocket.

I think it is some sort of business strategic to fake her death in order to make her works value higher.

I mean we don't even know how she looks like at all.

while the rest of them will attack you for this what you are saying does make sense. I'm not a fan of her work but its still sad she passed. Many others who need to go coughcoughcongrcoughcough are still around while someone who could have made my day is little better is gone.

I'm just laughing at how wrong he is right now. Really, it makes him look stupid.

OT: It's just so tragic that she died from something totally unfair and undeserving. I can only imagine the pain her loved ones are going under. I extend condolences so as they are still grieving.

Such a tragic loss losing a mangaka with so much talent and creative insight. She was so young too. She shall be missed.

R.I.P Fujiwara-san.
May you find peace in the afterlife.
My condolences to your family and loved ones.
